I love my 15400... If I look really really closely I can see some flaws but honestly even if J12 released a perfect rep (ya right) the only thing I would do is buy another one with a different dial.. perhaps a RG model especially if they release one with with a nice strap.

Anyone holding off cause they want something marginally better is just missing out tbh

I'm interested in buying a 15400, but I'm very confused...
Everyone says the Miyota version is the best, but I can only find it on one TD site and then there are two version with the only difference that I can make out being a $100+ price difference?!
Which 15400 model is the best one to buy as of right now?

The cheap version of the Miyota has a lot of flaws. It has been discussed to death (look in other threads). Just buy the expensive one and you'll enjoy it for a long time.

I've just ordered and paid for the latest Miyota 15400. Do you think I should ask Sora to hold my payment and put it towards the J12 next month?

I would take the one you got. delays happen. you can always upgrade later.

H haahha one post that rumored it was in the works because j12 has been releasing all these models and they expected it would happen one day and that one post spiraled into this lol
