Customs sting at JFK earlier this month......

I just read on another site about a sting on counterfeit items earlier this month. It looks like it was mostly handbags but the article did mention watches.

Just wondered if anyone here was affected.

we aren't talking about traveling here. We are talking about watches that were being shipped. You can travel with any rep you want.

I tend to take a few with me on trips. I've once been accused of trying to sneak in watches. Lol. I think I was 22 at the time. They where all Invictas.

Imagine loads of police at airport security... you walk past and say "why the increase in security? is something going on? terrorist threat?" and they reply

"No buddy, we are here for the fake watches...

now please hand your watch over to our horologist, that 21j movement you have is a threat to national security"
