Hello!

What kind of reps do you think fit teens (16-20 years old)?
I'm a pretty young watch guy and thinking about buying my first rep.

What I'm looking for:
- The best possible quality for a rep (im willing to pay quite a lot for it)
- A sport looking watch (for example divers)

What watch do you think I should buy and from which dealer?

I really love Rolexes, but at the same time I think I'm too young for that, or what do you guys think?

Thank you :)

Well...I'm a Rolex guy so I naturally think TC first...but the APs are popular with the younger fellas (and older).

Yea, been thinking about TC. Def an option, but just hate that Rolex is a such a mainstream brand. But for an AP, which dealer do you recommend?

Rolex is a main stream gen for sure. But nothing can deny a rolex brand has the best wrist image.

Dont worry about watches. Go bang as many chicks as you can. Then worry about the watch. Bang bang bang

I think a Tudor is a great choice for a teenager. It gives you all the style and feel of a Rolex without everyone saying no way he's wearing a Rolex. Most people don't know Tudor but we don't wear our watches for others.

Got to agree with Tudor, if you don't like much attention, go with it. If you want a Rolex, I'd go with TC. Can't go wrong with AP either, specially the diver. In the end, buy what you think you would like. Doesn't matter if you're a teenager or an 80-year old. Just be aware of the attention that a rolex gets, so if you're going with it, get a TC :)

There is no "watches for teens".

I'm 20 myself, and I wear anything I want including gold watches and all..

Just make sure you feel comfortable in your social environment !

A 16 year old with a rolex will scream canal street $10 fake....so will a supposedly 20k AP. You happy with that?

Assuming that some level of recognition from others is important to a 16year old at school .....No one's gonna know what a tudor is...so you might as well be wearing a timex. Is recognition important to you?

I would look into TAG or OMEGA. The gens don't cost stupid money (unlike APs) so it won't look completely out of place on a 16year old.

I'm 23 and no way I would be able to pay $20-30k for an AP but I'm still wearing one because I like it. Point is that no one will ever know what it is and everyone's comment will always be "nice watch" if they even see it on your wrist. I would say perfect rep for a teen is AP Diver, FC for me but ss will do too. :) Other than that, PAM 111 if you like their look. If not, get one and you'll see what it's all about. ;)

I'll second this, I'm 22 and I wear what I like, not what I could conceivably afford. I've yet to encounter another person in my peer group who even knows what they're looking at, let alone whether it's a rep or not. But then again, I'd also tell people it's a rep if they have the inclination to ask, I'm not sure how most of the other young folks land on that subject.

I'd go for a PAM before any AP, but that's just my own preference ;)
