Wearing a rep into your country. Is it ok?

lol. nobody is going to grab your wrist and check your watch out. do you think those underpaid customs workers could tell that a watch is a rep? NO. they cannot. and they don't care. now if you pass through security with many watches, that's going to be a red flag. but if you are just packing a few for your trip there's no problems. an authorized dealer can't even pick out a good rep and call it out just by looking at it, so some customs security worker is not going to know. Just think about it. common sense.

I guess they kill you in North Korea for wearing a rep, probably for wearing any watch not made in North Korea

They have some nice ones though :D

As long as You´re travelling with one watch only, obviously it´s no big deal. Now if You want to take an AP, a PAM and a Rolex on a 14 days trip and add a gen and another cheap one to it and get into a routine inspection it starts looking different.
1 Rolex is fine on international travel, if You take 2 You already should have papers proving the acquisition. Be it business or leisure, it would be fun to always have several for visiting different locations, dinner out etc. and not to be restricted to just 1 or 2.

For "nothing to worry at all" I wouldn´t go so far, EU countries love to collect taxes, this way or that way: incident in one of the more liberal countries

Lol 10 years in jail for wearing a rep? Give me a break. Reps are openly sold at the patpong night market in Thailand.

Accidents and Emergency
Travelled recently to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, no problem with reps either. Had 3 watches with me, 2 on my luggage and one I'm wearing. A friend of mine advised that I should not bring gen or rep boxes with them, for I might have problems with customs, so I just wrapped it with a towel. :D

This is silly, 99.9% of the people on earth don't even pay attention to your watch. Its only us lunatics (IWS) who look at another mans wrist! Last summer my wife and I spent over a month in Holland, Belgium, France and Spain. I was either wearing a Polar EXP 2 or a 45mm Orange CR PO. Customs doesn't care unless your a total idiot.

So should I avoid bringing a 3 watch roll with me on a weeklong trip?
I'd really like to take beach pics of them :(

I've never had an issue bringing 4 or 5 watches with me on monthlong (or weeklong) international trips, but you are making me a bit worried now.

yah, I agree. I would be more worried about being robbed. No customs is going to take the caseback off your watch and inspect the movement. That just isn't part of their training. lol.
