ETA Swiss movement v Selitta

Hi all can someone give me some advice looking at buying a ploprof it has a selitta movement in it, is this any good how does it compare to Swiss ETA

They are functionally equivalent in real life. But in reps, I'd take the Selitta because too many of the ETA's sold in reps are old or used. Selitta's are going to be brand new 99.9% of the time.

Little known factoid I read on the Internet:

Before ETA became part of Swatch Group and went to all in house movements, they used to buy parts and ebauches directly from Selitta. So, I believe there are lot's of old Selitta movements out there with ETA stamps on them.

Of course, you can never be 100% sure of anything you read on the net.
