HI there.

Apologies if I'm asking a stupid question here but I bought and paid for a rep with TB on 14/10 and have not heard anything from them.

I read his FAQ's and all (I think!) stickies here and am aware that he doesn't keep watches in stock, but it says that he sources them in 1-2 days before sending quality pics...

I left it until Friday the 17th and emailed him asking for an update and I haven't had a reply to that either...

Again, apologies if I'm being inpatient but I'm not complaining about not having the watch yet and understand that it can take time but I'm a bit miffed not to have heard anything.

TB is a great dealer, so I'd say this was unusual from him.

Give him another couple of days to get back to you and then email again with your Order Number and/or WU/PP transaction number stated. If you give as much info as possible, it'll make liking it to your order easier.

It sounds to me like it might just have got missed.

If that doesn't work (which I'm virtually certain it will), open a Helpdesk ticket here on the forum.

I'm happy to say that I've had a response from TB. Unfortunately there is a stock issue with the watch I want but I am much happier now I've had a reply.. :)

Ok, unfortunately I am having an absolute nightmare here and could really do with some help.

So after finally getting QC pics for my original purchase (White faced RG Daytona with brown leather strap), I was met with photos of the correct watch but with a black strap. TB asked me if this was ok and I said 'No, it HAS to be a brown strap'..

Then, after waiting another 8 days, I was emailed a tracking number, but hadn't had any QC pics. I emailed Toro about this and, again, was ignored.

Eventually, a package was delivered but, as there was nobody in, it was returned to the depot. I then arranged to pick up the package from the local agent at a nearby store. I went to the store to collect, but they could not locate the package and an issue was raised.

To cut a long story short, TB and the courier in HK were in constant contact with the courier in the UK, but there was lots of back and forth with nobody accepting blame. I told TB that I was really disappointed with my whole experience and he stated that if the courier had lost the package, he would send a replacement. After lots of emails and phone calls with the courier, I finally got them to accept that they lost the package and TB accepted this to. This was last Friday 21/11.

So, now TB agreed to send a replacement but guess what? He can't get hold of the watch that I paid for and asked me if I would mind having another (brown) dial. I told him that this may be ok, but as there are no photos of this watch with a brown dial on his website, I requested that he send me photos of the watch so I can view it. He also told me that this watch was in stock.

I have heard nothing since, despite sending two polite emails asking for an update.

I am really struggling here and have to say I have completely lost confidence in TB as a dealer.

I understand that the lost package is not his fault but the lack of response, no QC pics and 6 weeks with my money and seemingly no urgency to put this purchase right is completely unacceptable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Even I had some great transaction with Toro and can't say anything bad about him, I would hate not to get a reply from a TD. Sometimes it can be missed by them but not more than one or two times IMO.
Other than not getting responses from him, everything else seems normal to me as these things can happen in this hobby. What I would do is ask for a refund and, if it's the only watch out there that you want, wait for it to get back in stock and if you're so much dissapointed in Toro, pick another dealer. I would suggest you Sead or Ken, you can't go wrong with them. ;)

I finally received the watch today, and I have to say credit where it's due, the transaction was far from smooth but the product, as always from TB has far exceeded my expectations - it looks beautiful.

I would share pics but my photography skills are non existent and wouldn't do the watch justice.

On a separate note, Shelby (or anyone else), can you tell me where I can find Saed or Ken?

As always things became at the end. SEAD is Supermirrors in Trusted Dealers, and he has some stock in UK.
