My new Pelagos just arrived

I have just received a V6F Pelagos from Puretime and thought others might be interested to see some pictures. I don't feel that i know enough to post a review, so i will just post a few general comments:

- was very well packaged and wrapped
- came with an extra rubber strap (which i did not bother to unpack yet)
- watch is rather light, as expected, this may not be everyone's cup of tea (i do like it however).
- of course the bracelet also feels quite different to a typical SS bracelet. Again, might not be for everyone.
- bezel clicks and turns nicely but does not lock as firmly in place as i would expect, could be a bit more firm
- the bracelet spring mechanism i something i was really looking forward to. unfortunately it is quite stiff. hopefully i can fix this with a bit of WD40
- lume might be a bit weak at first impression

i like the watch overall, i think this will be a keeper.

Congrats. It is a good looking watch. I tried the gen and immediately tried that DateJust II and felt that the Pelagos was too light, but it is a good looking watch. Thanks for the pics and comments

its not as bad in real life as on the picture (sun was coming in straight through the window) but yes, the AR leaves a bit to be desired. however, i think i am too impatient to wait > 3 months for the whole coating process

not sure about the AR on the gen for comparison. looking at the pics on the internet (chrono24 etc) some seem to have very good AR features while on other pics it looks similar to the rep.
it appears the pelagos has already been updated judging from the crown guard discussion in another thread, maybe the AR was upgraded as well?

How is the lume application on your bezel? That was the biggest turn off for me.

murselyfe, i am not sure what you mean. i was not aware there might be any issues with the lume beyond that it is rather weak.
under normal lighting conditions i dont see any probs with the lume with my untrained eye, but then again i have never seen the gen in the flesh.
personally, what bothers me most is the crappy AR. otherwise quite a nice watch.
