@senator I don't think there will be a v2. Don't count on it. And I think the "flaws" people are bitching about are way over stated. And I am a little bit picky myself. I mean, it is a rep and a kickass one. $40k will get you a gen, if pure perfection is what one seeks. ;-)

Very, very nice. Like you said, it is a rep. Tidy up a few things but much better than most gens out of the box.
You really don't think there'll be a v2? The reception is pretty good and there seems to be a lot of buyers. I am still hoping for a v2 so holding off for now.
The factory knows that the dial is a bit too dark (also knows the tiny other flaws) but they do accept that and reply they cannot do any better.

Of course they can do a lighter dial... Look at the new ceramic 44 dial....and .. surprise surprise it's a shade of grey.... !!!
They pull off a master stroke of incredible engineering repping this from a Gen and yet claim they can't do a dial colour......
When sales do eventually start to dry up ... it's an easy fix to rejuvenate sales..
When no one bought the 2014 Safari because the dial was a disaster .... Miraculously within weeks they had an accurate one out...
