Why did you decide to change it? I am waiting for my safari (BTW: THANKS for the advice, Slaughterer!!!) and as you can imagine I'm already thinking about future mods... So far planned: strap and movement service.

A: There is a slight surface reflection on the Safari V2 Xtal which I thought I could get rid of with a better Xtal. The movement is actually very strong and accurate, and the rep strap is very good. You might want to wear your watch for awhile before sending it out for mods. I do not think this watch needs many modifications.

You were right, guru - the strap is quite nice on my Safari (J12 with black dw cutout). Just posted some teasers here:
