There is no need for any other watch if you have this one.

Bad ass watch!!
but with that price Id rather buy every single watche I like Rather than getting just one watch. It will be very hard to sell later and it will lose value,

Thats not a Picasso. It's not even a one of ; )

In the world of complicated movement, AP is not consedred top 5. Maybe not even top 10.

Obviously you did not get my point neither you get the fact that one can buy a 600k watch... you said "It will be very hard to sell later and it will lose value" , nothing can be more far from the true and I don't feel explaining you why...

Try to use your brain in getting to know why AP produced a watch at 600k, you have no understanding how the top 1% market works, you might learn a thing or 2 in the process...

I put that AP on the level of the best Patek eternal calendar's and see it as equivalent in collect ability. But maybe I am a fool, and AP is just for bad-ass nouveau riche rappers like Pharrel and Jay-Z, LOL

Impressive watch, but for 600k I'd rather grab a "regular" Royal Oak with a complication, something by Patek, and maybe a Lange to top it off. 3 super classy watches for under 600k.

You might be right: investing 600k in a vintage Patek might be a better choice in terms of ROI, given the fetishisation of Patek, but the value of that AP that started this discussion might surprise you in 10-20 years time. It is truly Patek-esque and maybe better than a Patek.

True, but at the same point in time if you look at what 3 200k pateks could net you vs this, I would say your ROI is better off on the Patek. But then again from a purely technical and appearance level, I love this watch way more than any patek.

ALSO!

Mind = blown. I love this piece, and its only 280k! In the words of Mr. Clarkson.. that's good value.

Patek is ROI, AP is risky, seductive experimentation with uncertain ROI. I guess we agree.

I guess the question will be who is buying in 10 to 20 years. I am 36 and think muscle cars will drop in value, as my generation grew up loving mid 80's 911s. Or an 83 Saab 900...those were sweet ;)
