As a real hard core Breitling collector and fan I have come to realize that there are possibly four assembly shops making Breitlings, I have had three confirmed and suspect a fourth from a TD's comments to me

The components come from several sources a couple make castings bezels and supply the four so hybrid builds are kind of what we see as V2,3,4 etc and in reality mean very little to anyone but us, quite a few different movements make it in to them too all A7750's but are different in having dual adjustment (course and fine) of the balance wheel, or a more simple single adjustment version, typically this one does NOT have the decorated rotor.
The Dials are also a source of interest as they too come from different places and vary in quality, the models that carry the polished glue on winged logo are especially variable as the quality of the moulding can vary from a shiny illegible blob, to a highly impressive flawless rendition worthy of a gen dial
The bezels vary in thickness and quality of the etching and numerals.
I have a V2 Skyland with grey dial that came from a TD on another site that is flawless in quality in a wrist to wrist comparison no-one knew it was less than gen as it was one of the lucky ones built then very carefully scrutinized by a fastidious collector owner before me. It even weights the same as the gen at 225 grams on bracelet!
If you go shopping remember to check the date that the watch pics were uploaded as many Breit's were photographed back in 2011/12 and may well no longer nbe made from those exact components to that exacting dimension.
Hope this helps?
