I just received the noob LM PO. The replica is excellent but the bracelet is just so cheap and noticably fake. Besides the problems pushing out pins, the end links where it attaches to the watch isn't even right.

Here is a pic of the genuine bracelet:

Here is the replica one. Notice how the link is squared off and doesn't line up with the rest of the links? The gen one is rounded and lines up.

Looks like all the noob PO bracelets have squared end links that do not line up with the links. BP factory has rounded ones like gen.

I guess this is a detail that most people would never notice but once you delve into the little details, you can see it...

You can see it in this link:

The first picture is a ceramic PO chrono. The second picture is a LMPO. The last are normal ceramic PO's. The LMPO is correct. I can see the last picture where its different, strange nobody spotted it before.

Here is the gen LM PO bracelet. As you can see, not like the noob rep bracelet.

The end links stick out a bit on the LMPO. It irritates me too. But gen links won't solve that. They line up better with the case, but also sticks out. On the gen they don't. There are pocs available around the boards of people replacing the end links with gens. So the LMPO's lugs are just a bit too short. Thats my conclusion anyway.

Yeah, it seems such a pity that this beautiful rep comes with a flawed bracelet.

Another poster on another replica forum mentioned he put the CrPO bracelet on it and it works fine.

Buy a BP bracelet CrPO bracelet.
Mine is the only bracelet I wear.

If you have a bench grinder a soft rubber abrasive disk (artifex) you can round the end links to look and fit exactly as the gen does. The gen end links won't do the trick because the case on the rep isn't 1:1 as the dealers refers to. But modding the end links in this way give you the best end result. Also find the gen clasp pice and you will have a compleate good bracelet. I have done this on several V5 PO end links. ( you may need an extra pair of end links to train on and get the right feeling. )

edit:
the new CrPOs have a different shape compared to the LmPO I can see some posts above about it. Those two are not the same they are thicker on CrPO. And both noob and BP CrPO end links are superb.

I don't really care if the CrPO links are thicker. At least it looks like a CrPO bracelet and the end links are correct. The LMPO bracelet just looks and fits badly...

i try to avoid pins whenever possible.
couldnt help it with the speedmaster though.

i think i spent like 3 hours with a hammer and a pin remover to remove 3 links.

i got it sized right but all the pins are busted. lol

May I suggest a cheap pin removal tool from ebay. I have perhaps the cheapest plastic junk one and I can have a bracelet resized in under 5 minutes.

Is exactly like mine for $4.29 buy it now. The same at auctions go for @$2 if you have more patience than money.

And don't feel you need to find a more expensive one. This is an example of cheap doing the job at the hobbyist level.
