Anyone own the 36mm Cartier Ballon Bleu?

Hey guys,

I'm considering buying a cartier ballon bleu, (as well as a Santos and a Tank), and I'd like to know if anyone has any pics of the watch on their wrist. I have a 6.5" wrist, so I don't think I can pull off a 42mm Ballon Bleu, especially because it looks so big at the AD. I prefer smaller watches, and would love a Ballon bleu in 38mm. I've basically chosen the 36mm, but if the 42mm works, then I could go for that as well.

Does anyone have any lug to lug measurements for the watches?

Pics would be awesome.

PS. don't tell me that this watch is girly, I don't give a sh*t

I had 36mm BB few weeks ago in for one guy's wife and it looked great on my GF's wrist. I got her 390 some time ago and actually I was thinking if better option would be BB which I didn't liked on pics but when she putted it on her wrist it was just awesome. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I can get to any pics and I was stupid enough not to take pics of it on her wrist but here is how 390 looks on her (and 372 on my 7.1'' wrist):



I don't know what is her wrist size (I can ask her to measure) but on stock short PAM asso she would need one more hole for watch to fit tight. 36mm BB looked just perfect for her's wrist and we were both amazed by quality of the watch and by how it looks on the wrist, that's all I can say.

I'm pretty sure it will be her next watch but I suppose it won't be soon so...

I tried a 42 BB at the AD the other day and I just think it looks feminine. Here is a wrist shot of the santos 38mm.

Haha I think I'll just go for it, if it's too feminine, the gf or the sister gets it.

Otherwise I'm gonna wear it.

Mate, 36mm is the same size as the watch Kate Middleton wears, I'm not too sure if that will suit men's wrist.

Just because girls started wearing dudes watches and everyone started making bigger and bigger watches doesn't mean 36mm is too small for men.

My 36mm datejust looks fine on my 7.5 inch (wrist)
In fact I think it fits better than a giant super avenger 2.

Personally I think 36mm is too small for me but that's why there's a million different watches out there so you can wear what you like I just can't do something that small.

I see your point there. But IMO that has more to do with design than size.

Don't get me wrong from my previous statements cartier IS my favorite brand I don't think you can go wrong with any choice it's just not my cup of tea. If you do get one I'd like to see wrist shots.

Wo wo wo nothing gay at all about cartier lol they make extremely classy watches, jewelry, pens, etc. they are a true luxury brand in every way imaginable.
