Got the v3 today. It's going to be the base for my ultimate ND sub.
My observations
Noob looks smaller,sharper
Happy with Noob sel fitment
BP dial better black hole and way better lume
Noob is lighter?

Can you weigh them? that would be helpful. also, measure them if you want to know if one is bigger. that's the only way to know is by actually doing the things that will tell you for sure. My 45 mm luminox would sometimes look smaller than my 42 mm Explorer II, but it wasn't. Measure them, weigh them, and those kind of things would be a great help to us. Very nice watches BTW. both of them.

The Noob dial has better lumedot finish but the BP dial as a total package is better. Lume itself is way better on BP.

Black hole is the effect the BP dial has in combo with Gen crystal. It is as if you look into a black hole instead of to a flat dial.

The Noob bracelet feels flimsy BTW. Maybe some baby oil will help.

So , what is your preferred ?
The Noob or the BP ?
I want buy a SubC , but everyday I read some news.
"Better buy BP ..... Better buy Noob V3"
I've no much founds to spend , trust me mate , and I must take a decision.
I've no found for mod , nothing mod. No gen crystal , no gen ceramic bezel.
My only desire is an invisible LEC.
Beone , you've all two watches , and you can see with your eyes which is the better.
How you can tell me to buy ?
BP or Noob ?
Please , only one chose. I'm not interested by Black Hole like gen , I know good that it's impossible have a rep like the gen , also with many modding.

Thank you if , you give me a reply and delete by my mind the doubts. I can't fail the choose.

Word of advice.
Whoever is doing your mods, have them remove the 114060 indices and rebond them with quality adhesive.
Micky had 2 fall off my BP dial while he was working on it. And by the time my build got to me, another was rolling around inside. Definately something to consider while the watch is open.
Micky ended up buying my build from me, such an excellent and honest modder that he is.
Just thought ad throw this in to prevent it happening again.

Yes AlFru , with some very perfect mods , you can have a 95% rep close to gen.
It's easy if you fit many gen parts , like ceramic bezel , dial , hands , crown etc.... But is much expansive like cost , and many people , like me , can't spent this founds for a perfect modding.
But , you can see that is a rep without open it.
If you pull off the Crown and turn , the direction of the gen 3135 it's reverse compared to an Eta......

I think you have the wrong idea of "black hole" effect. I believe that term applies to the cyclops. And I guarantee you the black hole effect is a lot better on the V3 than on even the Gen no-date sub

Oh, well I like to be creative in interpretations:matty:Anyhow, thx Alfru for the heads up. I will definitely tell the modder this.
I have worn the v3 a couple of times now, and I had a BP verison by BK before. And I liked, from a gen look and feel perspective (no expert here), the BP better. The engraving on the BP insert are deeper, which I like. The color is better. BP dial had more depth (which I thought was the "black hole effect") than the NOOB, but I think that has mostly to do with the color of the lume. The BP lume is whiter which makes the black blackererer, you know...

So I am happy this v3 is only a donor case for my best ND, otherwise I would have sold it already.
