Yes you should just buy it. I mean no one on the web lies. Send your CC info, birth date, address, and all your personal info. You'll be fine and let us know when your Ukraine bride arrives.

It's not like someone would post a pic of a gen and send you a rep or an empty box, shit, that never happens.

Its not a 16610, i believe its a 16800. Unlikely to find a decent rep of it. But i wouldnt take any chances.

Bracelet, dial (<25t marking) and lugholes ( i know, 16610 also has lugholes)

im no expert so i will await further answers...

in my honest opinion i would not buy something if you dont know what it is. Educate yourself on dicferences in submariners over the years to avoid getting scammed.

again: this is my opinion.

I think it looks gen but that doesn't mean that's what your gonna receive. I would never buy a Rolex from ebay, F that.

If you feel good about it then go ahead I suppose, but remember don't play with funds you can't afford to lose should things go bad.

Again with all respect. OP asked for info on this 16610, But it isnt a 16610. Why would you buy something if you dont know that its something different than you think. Is your dream watch a 1680, 16800, 168000 , 16610? Think this over before you regret your decision! For instance i would never buy a sub with folded endlinks but thats just me.

You don't seem to know the watch well at all, but if you like it there is no reason not to buy it.
People say "buy the seller, not the product" This seller has almost exclusively watch listings, over 2000 sales, is an ebay top seller, and has %100 feedback. If anything goes badly, which I doubt it will, you always have ebays buyer protection which covers all the money that you are spending.

If you want it and have the money to spend, I would advise you to buy it.

Wait wait,,,it CAN be a real early 16610....before it went Swiss at 6 and then Swiss Made but I agree, it sure as hell looks like a late 16800.....or even the bad ass rare 168000 in 1989 only....the only difference was a change from 316 steel to 904 for ONE YEAR then a change to 3135's and it became a 16610....just like that MIGHT be..The god news is this model is rarely repped, I mean almost NEVER.
