Great find. The watch in your photos is not as bad as I thought it would look. The modern REP's have come a long way.

The backside of the watch reminds me of that AWESOME ROLEX that was on the m2m a few weeks ago, lol. I wonder if its been taken?
and nice thread btw, i remember looking at the some canal st reps just 5 years ago and they were really horrid, especially the bejewelled ones (i mean they're still horrid these days but more so then)

You know what is scary is how much improvement that Chinese have made in the last 25 years.

It would not surprise me that in the next 5 years they are making better REP's than the Swiss make GENs.

I think the only thing that stands in their way is the business mentality in China of cutting corners without regard to the consequences of their actions. Do mean to bash the Chinese, I have a great deal of respect for their culture and the work ethic of the people.

The culture of reps in general has taken huge steps forward because the need and stigma has changed. In the old days owning a fake was taboo but today owning something near perfect is accessible for everyone and a honby. Personally I own many gens and I prefer buying gen of certain things I have always desired but I can't buy every AP or item I want so I dabble in these high end reps and collect. It's a hobby I don't intend to fool anyone or pose as something I'm not it's a personal thing that I enjoy more than stamps or comic books. Best hobby imo

If they would make some improvements on the Movements, Like a Chronograph movement that works and something that is easily adaptable for the different sub dial locations. I know its not software but the 7750 screws the Chronograph over

Well said Infamous18. Your explanation is EXACTLY how I see collecting REP's.

I don't give a damn what the guys at the local gas station think about the watch I am wearing.

No, no, no, I disagree. This is not a rep. It is a fake watch. What we collect are replicas.

Seriously, nice find OP. We've really come a long way. :)
