AP SS Diver V6 Quick Pictorial Review

This is AMAZING! The finishing on this diver is incredible. I really liked my v5 and didn't realize how much an improvement this would be but it is in the small yet highly refined details.

I will do a full review and comparo with my 4.1 and v5, but for now, let the pics do the talking...

it look like for me the number on the bezel is to big compare to gen....is it true?

If you look around, the bezel font size drama is kind of overdone. I have seen gens of this with slight variations of bezel font size, so I think this is a silly "tell." What is consistent amongst even the gens is the boldness of the bezel font, which they nailed... Plus, no issue with "50" ;-)

For example... 2 gens with very slight font variation...

I put that there because people want to find any pic to validate or compare but many forget that gens all have slight variations between one another. Someone can just as easily spot inconsistencies comparing 2 gens of the same model if they really get down to it but in the end, there are important characteristics that make for a great watch (rep or gen) and that is the build quality and finish...

I have seen countless gen divers pictures on forums and Instagram.
Almost all have consistent bezel number spacing and font.
I disagree with you that the gens have a large variability.
Maybe there are some gens with some imperfections, but the preponderance of evidence shows that the gen divers are largely consistent.

this is the best i can do with my a@@ bb cell phone.





i feel like v6 font is bigger, but i might be wrong.

forget about the sunken bezel, its still very far from gen.

Valante, if you compare your gen pic to different v6 pics, you will notice that they are very very similar. The v6 is honestly the one to get. Even if a v6.1 or 7 comes, I dont think it will get any better than this. Look at older models like 4.1, 5, 5.1 all have pro and con's. With this I think they did a great job

I've handled several gens and with my 4.1 and even the v5, I felt like they were pretty close, but when I got this today, I felt like they really nailed it! This is a great watch!
