I thought this was before you got your gen bezel. No improvements since then?

mix some mr hobby chrome with mr hobby dark iron,then mix some anitas platinum.then your insert will look 100% gen platinum colour in all lighting conditions.permanent and cheap alternative to gen insert

Found a UK supplier for Mr Hobby paints. Just need some "Anitas" platinum and we're http://www.modeldesignconstruction....uction/_486472/10/Paint%20Mr%20Hobby%20Colour

you first need to add 3 parts chrome to 1 part dark iron.then thin to water consistency,using mr hobby colour thinner ,let the mix flow into the numbers without using brush motion.it will dry fast.then wipe the exess off the insert with a rag and water instead of scraping as its water-based paint.then use anitas platinum mix with water unitill the paint is as thin as possible,water consistency.then the paint colour sort of seprates.use the grey part of the separated paint.let it flow like water into the insert numbers without brushing.leave a few hours to dry.then use a rag and water to clean exess and its done.then polish the paint with a tshirt

mike used just anitas platinum for his paint mod and looks great in his pics.and i know someone who used mr hobby metal paint on there own look good aswell.but imo it looks more gen using the two metal paints first.then very very thin layer of platinum on top

IMO, this is absolutely beautiful. Nobody is gonna notice all these flaws. The flaws are not what people will be awed about. Congrats....nice watch

The white paint on bezel is very bad. You don't quite notice it in pics. In real life it ruins the whole rep.
