Well, my AP RO 15400 with miyota movement arrived today and i make that review now because i think a lot of AP 15400 fans wait for that.
My first impression of that watch, its a very very good Rep.
i had a AP RO 15400 from the same maker before and the largest flaws were the bezel screws are not sunken, at my watch, the AP logo at the dial was wrong and of course the open caseback with a visible wrong movement.
two of that flaws are now eliminated, the screws at the bezel are well sunken and the AP sing at the dial has the little white thing between the A and the P.
The movement is now a miyota with a Audemars Piguet engraving but its still a open case back with a view to a wrong movement, of course. BUT the miyota looks a lot better than the old A2824 movement. its true that the rotor wind up the movement just in one direction but i thing that is no problem at the wrist.
the bracelet is still very good and very flexible almost as the gen bracelet. i dont do the baby oil treatment at the moment and its fine how it is.
the case is 10,05mm, the gen is 9,8mm.
at the end i must say its not a cheap watch, i payed $488 incl shipping to EU but the watch is worth the money in my opinion.
i hope i can help with that little review one or the other indecisive AP fan....my tip, JUST BUY IT.
and thanks to ryan for the smooth transaction.
well lets see some pics now.
