when did the DJ's stop having lug holes in their cases

specifically looking at the 36mm DJ's. When did they stop the lug holes and start with the non lug hole cases?

Just saw a P serial 16203 w/o lugholes, so maybe around 2000 or so....

Edit: Just found a 16233 from 1995 (T serial) w/o lugholes.

i believe it's also the same time that they started polishing the lugs..modern DJs now have the polished lug look instead of the angular brushed lugs..
