Hey guys, well after getting my gen, I've been a little out of the collecting game, but now I'm back and planning to grow my collection a bit.
Now this is something that has caught my attention.. the new patek nautilus chrono has come out! It is the ref 5980 and it has 3 dial colors available for purchase.
1. blue
2. black
3. white
Each one has their own perks and downfalls.
Lets breifly talk about each.
1. blue
The blue model that is offered, is good in the sense that it has the correct printed dial. This is the only color model that offers the patek philippe printed directly on the dial and not printed on a slightly raised section of the dial. The blue model also does not have a silver edge around the DW. This makes the date seem bigger and more gen like.
The downside is that the blue is not very accurate at this point and is nothing like the nautilus 5911 in blue.

2. black
The black model has the dial flaw in that the brand print is printed on a slightly raised part on the dial.
The upside is that the color is very good with gen. Cant mess up black as bad as blue.

3. white
Probably the most accurate right now. The branding sits on raised part of the dial, but that is how the gen is.
Also cannot really go wrong with the color of white. Its not a gradiated as much as the black or blue.

Now unfortunately I do not have the watch in my hand right now, but I will compare using my QC pics.
I ordered the black dial.
I will get a video review as soon as I receive this piece.
