Hahaha hi all! First of all, i'd like to describe my emotions. Haha i am surprisingly amused and pretty excited tt my marker dropped!(please refer to picture. Doesn't feel the least cheated.

As per my experience from the reads, now i have a scrapped watch to play w! Not to tt extent yet. Haha.

I need help in suggestions of what i can do to rectify the issue though. Haha.. Itching to order some tools and get my watch dismantled! Haha or probably a local watch smith? Lol. I am in Singapore btw. Cheers!:cheese:

Not yet a scrap watch. Just need to open up and glue it back. Do remember to hack the movement to do prevent scratching the dial.

You'll need case back opener and proper screwdrivers.

If you search one of my posts I had the same issue with my white dialed explorer II. Take your time not to scratch the dial. Uncase the movement. I used a bit of epoxy to dab the lume case back and pressed it on. Recase the watch and you're good as new! You can use some balled up packing tape to get the case back opened and closed and a flat tip screwdriver(from 1.99 glasses repair kit) will do for the rest if you don't have a set for watches yet. Good luck and good watching!

Watchmaker will do that under 20 bucks.

Wow thank you so much for all the speedy responses. I'll give it a try!

I'll check out the case back openers soon since i've a couple more of reps.

Just wondering, how do i open up the case back with balled up packing tape?

Very nice and detailed tips! Appreciate it!

Ball it up sticky side out for the last few wraps, apply ball to caseback, turn.
Problem is you can't get things tight enough afterwards, it works but I would recommend a case back tool eventually. I use the Watchbitz multi-prong tool every day, best caseback tool ever.

Another thing too, is go easy on the stem release cause you don't want to create a harder repair than just putting the marker back on.

Lovely! I have been checking watchbitz out for the past 20 mins looking for the right tools i'll be needing! Hahaha! Now i foresee myself having some decent set of watchtools very soon.

Thanks! I'll go easy on it! I'm actually pretty glad that i was given a reason to start dismantling my watch. Haha if a more serious problem comes up, and if i can't fix it.. it means a new rep! a scrapped watch to play with! And possibly gonna try to mod my watch in time to come!

:hehehe:
