Hey all,
I just got this watch back from Kevin (Ko67). I had purchased the BPSD from Sead and the additional parts from (who else?) TC. Kevin gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost so I sent it all off to him.
Well, as soon as he takes it apart and try's to pull the second hand off, the seconds pinion snapped off (cheap asian parts). So Kevin offers to get SWISS replacements at no extra charge. He also offered to replace the rep hour wheel and cannon pinion with the more correct and taller #4 pinion Tc uses. It wasn't required and he said no extra labor since he had to remove them anyway to replace the seconds pinion.
On top of all that, he replaced the dial, crown and tube, hands and the bracelet. I also sent him the TC Date Wheel but he said the BP DW was just as good (so I'll be selling this one).
Kevin took pictures throughout the mod and answered all of my newb questions patiently. When he told me the final price I was shocked - because it was so low. He felt like he should have to pay for the second pinion since he snapped it. He told me his usual $25 charge for fitting the tc bracelet was on him too because of the delay. I sent him an extra 50.00 because I really can't blame him for snapping the part off and the delay was no big deal to me.
By the way, I sent him my wife's broken Yacht Master which he also fixed at a reasonable price.
So, I highly recommend Kevin for any mods you may need. He was a pleasure to do business with.
I know there are a ton of BPSD pictures out there but here's just a few more.

Your topic is wrong. You are talking about a BP SD. DSSD is another model. ;)
Nice watch btw.

That doesn't surprise me. I've still got a lot to learn. I thought all Sea Dwellers were Deep Sea Sea Dwellers. Anyway, my point was that Kevin did a fantastic job. This is my favorite rep so far.

It's a wonderful watch! Alot say it's the nicest watchdesign ever made. The Deepsea Seadweller is the (fat) "Daughter" of the classic Seadweller.

Thanks for the kind words. Your bp dwo was the best printing and best alignment that I have seen out of the box. I could have put the tc dwo, but it would not have been any improvement. All watch smiths have experienced asian part failures during repairs or service. It is the main reason I wont work on a7750 movements.

I started out on a quest for a SD rep. In my search for one I have so far acquired a TC V3 LV, A BK/PBDAD DSSD, and a TC V6 on the way(had originally ordered a TC KH dial Cadell sub two weeks ago but he let me change it to the V6 today) and going to send funds tomorrow for a TC 2824 YM. Not long ago I had no idea what these acronyms stood for, lol
