Is a TC 16610lv worth a $600 gen insert?

I bought an beautiful TC LV from a forum member, it came with a gen black insert. I also have a TC 16610 with the TC vintage insert on the way. I would like to put the gen black insert in the 16610 and get a green insert for the LV. The LV insert is way expensive. Does anyone else make a really good LV insert? (I could put the pearl from the vintage tc insert into a LV insert if everything about the insert is good except the pearl)

I bought one of these Clark bezel inserts and mine ended up looking pretty good. I saw another one someone purchased that didn't look as good. I think it's the luck of the draw with these things but after receiving mine I couldnt justify the price difference between it and a gen.

thats the only issue with a tc lv the price of the gen lv insert.i hopthe makes a lv insert with his new pearl like the tc vintage insert

Because even the gen inserts seem to come in various shades it does not seem such a huge issue. For a $500 plus difference, I can live with it.

Where do you acquire just the pearl?

That is extremly hard to do... Best solution is the get a ****** up insert with a nice pearl. Or get a good Gen black Insert, remove the pearl and sell the insert without the pearl.

I was looking for a long time for just a nice gen pearl, no luck.

TC vintage pearl is the best one by far. Don't bother with Clark's pearl it is not very close to gen. Use the clark insert with TC pearl. I have the latest from both TC and Clark.
