All the 02-94 chronos I've seen looked to be the same version. Looks to pay about $350.

Great watch, but I'd stick to the 02-92 non-chrono versions.

Two issues with the 02-94:

1: sunken date wheel. This is a common problem with all rep B&R chronos. It's an instant tell.
2. Case back is re-used from the 02-92, so it says 1000m water resistance, but the chrono version only has 500m resistance.

I agree, the 02-92 pro dial is the way to go. For around $160 you can get the hi beat 4813 if there are any still around thru the TD's

The BR02 non chrono is not very good either.

  • HE orange valve is translucent compared to gen
  • Crown and knob above it are dead giveaways with horrid stickers

My BR02 has none of these issues^^^
Maybe they were fixed on later versions?

I bought it early this year so I doubt they were ever fixed.

If you have seen a gen, the flaws are quite obvious at least to me.

Just have a look at these rep and gen pictures:

The crown and whatever it's called knob have some weird sticker or lacquer to mimic the proper embossed symbols.

Compared to the gen which is very well defined.

The HE valve on the rep is a dull and translucent orange compared to the brighter and opaque orange of the gen.

Anyways I've seen the word "super rep" thrown onto the BR02 before so it just needs to be said it has its flaws which stand out a fair bit from afar.

Oh you have the pvd. I think the SS pro dial (dot markers) is the only one considered a high end rep... Nice watch regardless!
