Anyone else HATE the jubilee bracelet?

Never liked that bracelet from the get go. Saw a surgeon the other day for a consult and he was wearing a DJ I w/the jubilee and I noticedhim eyeballin my BK sub.

On a DJ or DD I think the only way to go is the president bracelet. Even the oyster takes away from the beauty of the classic datejust and daydate.

My favorite is the president bracelet. I am with you. WHen I order my datejust s.s. after christmas it will be with the president bracelet. I do not like the oyster bracelet on the dj or dd at all. Growing up All I saw was the jubilee bracelet on them so that was my favorite at the time. I still think it's the classic dj bracelet. But my preference now has changed at least for my watches to the president bracelet.

Problem is, AFAIK, the President bracelet only comes in solid precious metals and is totally wrong for a SS Datejust.

It looks pretty nice though.

So .....what do you hate about it, OP? The look? The fit? I find the micro-panther style center links make for a very comfortable bracelet.... and when worn today gives the Rolex a very cool retro look.

The haters think of the Jubilee as "cheap" or "tinny". Somehow the noobs these days think of light as cheap and heavy as quality.

I look at the Jubilee as a masterpiece of engineering. They are super light and extremely comfortable and you can still find a 50 yer old gen Jubilee that works fine and looks good.

Well, it is not as 'bulky' looking as the other Rolex bracelets but it really compliments the old Datejusts. For me that's the bracelet for Datejust, period.

The Jube is the hallmark of the DJ. I have three franken DJ's and they all have jubes on them. One of them is a jen jube and I love it. I like the vintage ones over the hidden clasp ones.
