Hi there!

I am on the verge of trying to lume my Ploprof bezel when it arrives. Done the paintjob on my old one, so why not try the real thing huh? :)

Just a question about the process. I am thinking of buying some Aqua Blue C1 lume

http://www.watchlume.net/store#!__store/premium-lume

and clear binder

http://www.watchlume.net/store#!__store/accessories

If I then apply it to the bezel insert (backside) and let it dry for 24 hours, is glueing it back not gonna dissolve any lume/binder?

Would like to hear some tips/experiences here.

Thanks!

DMS

Be aware you have to heat the bezel to 200 degree to remove it.

Ive used these to attach the rolex ceramic bezels and they work quite well, plus i dont think they will affect the lume.

Thanks guys. Anyone here can tell me if I should use clear or matte binder. I don't think it's gonna make a difference because it is behind glass...but hey....

Actually it might make a difference, the matte binder will dry a slight bit rougher meaning the adhesive you use on the insert will "bite" a little better.

I dont think it will make a difference on the way it looks tho.

EDIT: Im not sure the lume you are planning on getting is Aqua. Might want to double check that before ordering.

Mmmm....have seen some more pictures, and the colour seems to differ...sometimes all aqua then the blue and aqua. It all depends on the photo I guess...

Hey! Went great mate. Easy task tbh. Removing the bezel is the hardest part, but I did that on the old one already.

Lume was sent quick together with binder and solvent. A little 50:50 mixing and you are good to go.

I'm thinking of doing this mod. How did you heat up the bezel insert? Did you remove the crystal first?

Thanks
