The definition of a 'socialist country' doesn't seem appropriate by any means in my opinion... I can't say that it looks like Obama is trying to make America socialist

Just as a sub note these are the countries that are considered to have a democratic socialist political system today... they also have the highest standard of living:
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland

I find it really ridiculous when people say this socialist crap. Is Canada a socialist country? Is the UK socialist? No, but they both have universal healthcare. That is really one of the most misleading arguments I've heard.
Really don't know where you were from 2000-2008 if you think Obama is the worst president, hes not the one who took us into two wars and wrecked our economy. Hes the one who took of out of one of those wars and is taking us out of the other, with the economy getting better by the day,

So your saying that everyone will have the option to improve there healthcare plan? By all means please do explain....
"You will have the option to keep your current physicians" ----How about they physicians who no longer gets reimbursement with certain groups will no longer choose to keep you as a patient? Rest assured they like to maintain there lifestyle as we all do.
Oh and behind the scenes, say various medical device companies have already cut 3% in R&D and within the first 6 months. Not much right? Well more is coming as we've already been told. So where will innovation be pushed? Not here as much, the market will no longer support it. Think Europe. And that's just one example.
Case in point stem cell research. Seems to me since the US has pushed back on that that all of a sudden Brazil and France are making the world leaders as many top US scientist jumped shipped and continued their studies.
Did some tweaks need to be made to the current system? Sure. Obamacarless? No, regardless if your blue or red it's a bum deal. But no one can be in full support or against it because all the boxes containing the new laws and regulations haven't been opened yet me thinks. But hey Obama knows what's better for you regardless of that your think. Nice legacy there pork chop!

Social security in the UK is a joke... we have families where three generations have never,and will never, work since they get free housing, free food, free money to buy cigarettes and alcohol... now that's one messed up social security system
