Blue/Black GMT Master II

Hi All,

It seemed that quite a lot of people (me included) were really impressed with the Blue/Black GMT released at Bazel this year and were looking for a rep almost straight away.

The way I saw it was one came out which wasn't great, then another version popped up from (I think) BP Factory which was regarded as being good, and then everything went quiet!

Am I to take it that this version was good enough for everyone to buy it and be happy with it? Or did many people either get bored of the watch first or decide to wait for a 'V3' to come out?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one and am surprised by the relative lack of feedback on this watch after all the hype it generated when released! Should I bother?

It is a really nice rep, if you are going to get it just pay particular attention to the bezel, @ 6 and 18 where the blue meets the black and the not so good lume. I had one but I catch and released it because it was an impulse buy and my TC was coming.

I have got mine from MarvellousReplica and I´m pretty much happy with the watch.
...This is indeed a great watch and looks fantastic on the wrist, specially because the hue of blue on the bezel is spot on IMHO.

The black part of the bezel needs special attention as it´s painted over the blue part, but looks extremely well done, and you don´t notice it anytime, as it´s shiny as the ceramic and perfectly finished.
I just get a little more cautios than usual with it, as I don´t want it to be scratched.

this is the exact reason for me not buying it..i reckon wait a while for a better rep of look for a gen insert but that is very unliikely seeing ti was realsed recently. the 6 and 18 where blue bugs the hell out if me
