SS bracelet squeaks & rattles

Hi, hope this is the right forum for this question.

I've got a UPO45 that I bought with SS bracelet.
Decent enough replica. Problem is that the bracelet has started to squeak and rattle quite a bit.

The question is, is there any way to treat the bracelet?
It is what it is, but maybe there is at least a way to reduce the squeaking? Maybe some oil or other lubricant?

Thanks!

That easy huh? ;)

As long as I can get it clean enough so it doesn't ruin my shirts, I guess it could do the trick (WD40 even smells nice ;) ).

I wouldn't really want any wd40 coming into contact with my skin if it seeps though. Try something like baby oil or olive oil. I think even Teflon bike chain lube would be better.

Baby oil is cheap enough to allow the bracelet to soak overnight, then wipe clean the next day..I've done this to all of my bracelet watches (some treated 5 years ago!) and not a problem since..Works great!

Oh guys, stop that! Baby oil gets rotten, and olive oil belongs to pasta and salad, but never in a bracelet. Would you put that stuff in your car as well? By the way, that oil treatment is the best way to loose the screws sooner or later because they are lubricated as well, and espeacially WD40 is known for that effect.
Take off the bracelet, use a ultrasound cleaner (a real one), tighten all screws after washing and drying - in best case take them out, clean the threads, and put the screws back in with loctite. No manufacturer would ever lubricate them - but there are sometimes residues from manufacturing kept in the pieces.
I have 25 metall bracelets, all treated like this, and no one rattles... Only my 1972 gen Rolex Airking....

Thanks for your answers!

Funny how things often turn out not to be "that easy" ;)
