I thought the whole point of this site was information, insight and feedback ?

I bought a strap from Anchor Straps in August, had and issue with the strap had difficulty getting a response direct and raised it on the correct place, feedback for Anchor straps.

Seems this has now been removed, it was balanced fair and the strap is on its way back. I played a fair and straight bat, Benj will hopefully deal with and everyone is happy. This is what feedback is all about isnt it ?

I presume you are referring to the feedback score associated with each members profile that shows below their avatar?

I have asked this before about using the feedback system with TD/TVs (both for buyer and seller) and was told that the sales feedback system is only for m2m sales.

The individual sales review areas in each TD/TV forum area is where we are supposed to leave feedback for TD/TV sales.

Iwc was talking about his recent experience with a supporting vendor. I know its different with td's as there is no payment to the forum whereas sv is a store front for people who pay the forum to sell here.
I do however believe that feedback should stay regardless of whether is + or - that is the whole point is it not?

If you leave negative feedback post in the TD or SV's section, these have the ability to remove your post if they don't like it.

No they don't! Dealers/vendors do not have admin rights in their review section, If you know of a dealer who can remove negative comments ion their review section please let me know as a permission setting must be wrong.

I think op was referring to Review section of TDs not the feedback.

About a year ago I bought a supposedly high quality Rolex TT jubilee bracelet from Yuki and left a very negative review with pictures. That post disappeared a few days later. It wasn't in a review section, just his general section. If he didn't remove it, I wonder who did and why?

tb mentioned that SVs cannot remove threads only in their review section. So if you didn't post it there and posted it in Yuki's general section, it can be removed (since they need the power to edit/delete their sale threads in their general section).

Well, my post was in the same section within Anchor straps as the strap adverts along with feedback that is now moved to 'old' Customer reviews. relating to a happy customer.

It was balanced and has a fairly long trail of comments. This is nothing to do with Brad and anchor straps, I am hoping to receive my replacement strap shortly, but the point is there was a problem and it is being resolved. Which is good, no one is perfect. But this gives confidence, losing feedback does the reverse.

I have just ordered a rep from TC and at $500 I read the feedback carefully, I had assumed that if TC was a TD he would be under more scrutiny and I would have more confidence because of this, not perhaps less ?

This is a great forum, it's great on the basis of feedback.

If the post was 'lost' fine, my point here was TC is not a TD, so no ability to gain mod support if there was an issue. However lots of posts, challenging quality of crown guard, so challenge / neg feedback exists. Not the case (albeit no conspiracy suggested) with a trusted strap maker.

If this was a mistake, fine. But hopefully you can see the reason for raising this
