Second Hand gets stuck at a point.

Hi All

I may have a look tomorrow at a omega watch which i can buy cheap

the guy dropped the watch and now the automatic wind does not work anymore.

however when hand winding it all works, so I think ... guess that the rotor came of the bearing or so.

is this what mostly happens or are there other items i may need to look for.

it is a asian 7750

thanks for the help and ideas..

Oke bought it...

ander after hitting it a couple of times it runs fine again....

however, when using the Chrono, the seconds start running, until it hits a certain pont and than it gets stuck. Also the smaller second stops.

when I reset, the second of the Chrono, the smaller second dial runs again and watch runs smooth..

any ideas, the rotor is in place etc.

thanks

chris

Bent hands maybe?

does look like the hands touch.

opened it and it looks like one spring is just hanging around, not sure if it should be like that..<<

it is right at the first copper wheel at the picture above the balance wheel if you call it like that. See circled. Should that be like that or is it loose from another spot

Definitely it should not be there.

just found the picture attached and it has a same spring at the same location.. so guess it needs to be their..

Howver I found out it stops between the 4 and 5, when I tap the glass it goes again and stops a 5 seconds later, tap it and runs, after the 6 oclock position it fully runs till same position...

So tapping it will do the job.

when not using the Chrono sec, the seconds at 9 runs fine without interuptions.

Modding doesn't fix anything in broken movement. One that I have not say loud yet is broken jewel, that could cause also sudden stop and running again
