So i contacted Reg a few days ago to enquire about the Omega PO, he replied back promptly with pictures and costs and i decided to get the 45.5mm Chronograph, paid him at around 3pm, and at 10am the next morning the watch was in my hand.
This is the first rep I've bought since being on the forum and with a service like this I will definitely be buying from Reg again.
So i unboxed it and first impressions were impressive, well packed and presented.
It was bubble wrapped and protected by cloth between the base and the band, something that not everyone would think about. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was set to the correct date and time, a little touch which makes all the difference.
The weight of the watch seemed quite heavy at first but this only re-inforced the build quality.
The front face looks immaculate, great quality bezel and I even took the time to count the clicks, 120 on a full rotation.
My only negative things about the whole watch is the pearl is not quite in line with the pyramid on the bezel, a tiny insignificant detail really.
The bracelet is superb quality, feels slick and well built, was easy enough to adjust to my wrist with my tools.
The clasp itself is also well built, clicks nicely and the two release buttons work well without any force.
The caseback looks well made, with good attention to detail, although i believe the newer 2012 and 2013 models have a glass caseback, but as this one is quartz I would prefer this type.
All in all a solid watch, which I love wearing. I'm thinking that this one will be getting a lot of wrist time in the near future.
I would not hesitate to recommend the service and quality that I have received from Reg, any of you debating whether to buy or not; just do it!
