Whoa! Didn't realize the day and date would line up with the DG movement. Here I am collecting ETA2834's. :thud:
I have 3 of them and I have 2 Tudor Date Day projects in the works. Both with gen dials and rep cases with the proper caseback engraving.
It all started with the rep Rolex Day-Date with the 2812, the Tudor dial I bought lined right up. I did something bad to the original movement (?) trying to get the seconds hand mounted. I found a company in Canada with DG2812s in stock for about $20 usd so I ordered 3 of them. Practice, practice, practice...
I'd love to know where you got the casebacks engraved. I have several I'd like to have done.
