Hello,

a while ago, I purchased this sub locally.
since the beginning I've noticed that I lose 5 minutes per 24 hours.
after having the watch serviced, the problem still continues.

so now I need an option. I really like the watch, but advancing it every day
is beginning to bore me now that I wear it on a daily basis...

a) it's junk, stop wasting money on it

b) try a better shop

Thanks!

Greetings,
Johan

Yeah replace the movement if you like the watch, if not just get a new one.

$25 for the 2813 from Ofrei and maybe you can get an independent watchmaker to swap in the new movement for another $25-30. Don't know if you're going to need to move the DWO to the new movement til you get it apart.
Chinese movements are great when they work, but they sure are hit or miss.

The frankens that you're looking at in that post were built using gen parts and 16610 rep cases (don't remember if either used a ST case), as I recall.
Your best bet for the 16610 is either a TC sub or one from BKLM- those are great subs but they're not cheap- around $700 or so. But a TC or BK is going to be cheaper than building a franken. Cheaper subs like a noob 16610 are around still, but once you've had a TC or a BK, you'll never go back
