No Customs whatsoever.

Oh yeah, how smart is it to say that a private carrier have no customs whatsoever.........

Maybe, you have to go to their website, and educate yourself, not-so-smart-ass?

Would that be the website that says this.....
Who is responsible for payments?
It is the responsibility of the Sender and/or Receiver to cover any costs incurred by the different countries on their imported/exported goods. The Royale International Group will bill back the Sender and/or Receiver on all applicable duties and taxes incurred on their behalf along with a small administrative fee.

So... customs and an admin fee.
Marvellous.

In a Causal Loop
Before we all hang Luthier in effigy, perhaps there would be a dealer willing to give it a try on a few orders. Never know, could be a good thing?

My interpretation of their website (and general understanding of global customs) is that they still go through customs (as all international deliveries must) its just rather than the sender / recipient paying any duties they do (to speed things up and make it simpler) then pass those costs, with an admin fee, onto the sender / recipient

If they had some magical way to "skip" or do their "own" customs i'm sure they would be very busy with some very large and regular shipments of some very dubious shipments

Rep watches would be the least of their worries ;)

Down under, Border Agency protection at the inbound gateway falls into two areas, Customs (to collect duty etc) and Quarantine Inspection (checking for, and confiscating contraband etc).

Clearance can only be granted by authorised officers of the relevant agency. Mail can only be opened by an authorised agent of the carrier - Post Office, Fedex, UPS etc

You can apply for a Customs 77g Licence that allows a carrier to handle (open etc) product and present it to the BA guys for their inspection, recover costs, etc, but thats about it.

Looks like that here.

Exactly. They have their own Customs, and I, personally, didn't pay ANY fees.
