Personally, I think it's a bit ridiculous to be overly critical of a watch that costs less than a tenth of the gen and still is of the quality TC's YM is. Getting fussy about the stutter of the second hand and missing the glaring flaw of the 5 on the bezel? Unless your in the habit of letting people set the time on your watch who's going to know the hands turn the wrong way?

"They aced the bezel on this" lol..... this guy has no clue of what he's talking about. And now there's another one asking him advice about this imaginary sweep flaw....you should visit RWG.bz and check out his post over there.....
"Question: Did the now defunct Swiss movement people talk about all the time advance the time when wound clockwise or counter-clockwise? "
What the hell are you talking about?

Why are you comparing the weight of a 93150 to a 78760 bracelet?
"even at 8+ years of use mine is still super firm. That's one of the reasons they cost so much."
No it's not..... yours is probably a solid bracelet and the ones that sounds thinner has nothing to do with the price, they're hollow because Rolex wanted them to weigh less and they cost more....

And please do this noob expert, please,,, go over to the Pam section(Panerai) and post one of these so called reviews over there! and be sure to tell a guy named Ale to checkout your review.....

300kph - Thank you for the excellent review and follow-up.

Well done.

I agree, it's written nicely but it's total B.S.,,,,,,,90% is inaccurate.....and a disservice to TC who has brought back one of the most accurate reps to date!

Op you do know that ALL WATCHES TICK?

All of you replica "experts" need to take in consideration that some people , such as my self, have very minimal knowledge on the entire subject. I do not know the differences in movements and how they should function. I'm not sure how close they are suppose to look compared to a gen. So, I appreciated the OP giving an honest review of his entire experience. Just because I lack in knowledge of how these reps compare to the gens doesn't mean that I don't want a nice one. Sorry if I was under the impression that a $650 replica had an identical movement to the real thing. If it doesn't, that's all I was trying to figure out. And the only way I'm going to do that is by asking questions to people that are in similar situations as mine. Like I said in my first post, I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a super rep. Now, I'm trying to gather the info I need to figure out the differences between a super rep, a regular rep, and a gen before I make a decision. One thing that's for certain is I want a Rolex rep. Preferably a nice one because I don't plan on buying another one.
So, before you go calling people out for giving false info and asking silly questions just remember not everybody is a "replica watch expert" such as yourself.

Start with the sticky threads before the regular forum. Most of the information you need is in there. If you're looking for a Rolex YM rep, you're not going to do better than a TC YM for the money.

Bht, when I quoted your question I was trying to show the problem with this type of review, not to insult you. It is accepted that new members will ultimately read the type of information the op has written and accept it as truth, after all the op is representing himself as a expert, so my beef isn't with you, in fact your doing exactly what I did and most of the rest of us here did when we were new members looking to make our first purchase. The only thing I would suggest to you is this op is just as much a new member as you and only sees a shiny, metally, jingly thing on his wrist , and not to be so fast to accept his post as "an honest review" and before you would make a decision to buy or pass on this particular watch, you would investigate it further for the real flaws or nonflaws.
Even though the op suggest that the watch is good enough to buy he's listing flaws that simply don't exist and making erroneous comparisons...Good luck with your future purchases....

Hence why I've stayed out of this thread despite receiving my TC YM earlier this week.

Ludicrous to say the least...

Hi Mako, I wonder what you think of your TC YM? I really love to hear what MOST new members think of this type of watch? I remember when ,as a new member, I received my WM9 YM and even though now I know the real flaws, which are very few I might add, I thought much the same then as now.... OMG! What a beautiful watch....and I still believe it to be one of the finest replicas ever made.....

As he is owner of genuine pieces I enjoyed and appreciated the honest review.
Tbh this type of review actually makes me want the watch more. You can tell its pure honesty and in my opinion the remarks made are very high. I'm definitely getting one of these.
Just my 2¢

Thank you for understanding. I guess this thread just shows us that everyone will have different opinions and it's good to try and see things from different perspectives. I'm sure something I would consider a flaw is totally different from what some of you more experienced guys would consider a flaw and vice versa. I'm just going to continue my research and use all the information I gather to try and make a good concious decision on which watch I purchase. This is a great site and I'm sure, with you guys help, I should have no problem finding the one I'm happy with.
