List of Changes(Improvements) We Want For Sub-C! please participate..

Hi,,, All of you guy know that I'm the largest Critic of both noob and BP versions of sub-c,, but how many of you guys know that I'm also the largest fan of this watch also?

Please instead of debating on which version of sub-c is better, list the biggest flaws that your watch has and what changes you'd like most to see....please post pics! There's a rule around here: If there's no pic, it never happened! So, post em if you got em! :cheers:

Many of you guys have followed my pursuit of building a perfect sub-c rep, early on in this build I discovered that this would be impossible to complete without a gen insert with the current rep inserts that are available,,,,while searching for a gen insert I learned that Rolex will only sell the sub-c inserts to authorized Rolex repair specialists or jewellers with a brick and mortar store and require the serial number of the watch to be repaired and the insert to be replaced be returned to Rolex as a core swap....

Same as you, the bezel insert is the last thing they need to do it correct. The numeral, bezel pearl base....

Other than that, the rep maker do quite a good job of sub C.

As for the gen insert. Just need to be patient and some goodie will appear on ebay.

The only other big thing that i can think of is the LEC on the Crystal... Hope they can make it more Gen!

Actually the cg's on noob are really bad compared to gen.

Lug width on the noob mid case is a tad to wide.... Makes for a loose sel fitment.

Torro and Ryan have specials built so why not a limited release sub ? They get it built with some constructive help from fora members .this should be as easy as an AP? my name would be on the list .Mitch you could get your gen insert 3 d scanned for them to get made maybe

I would be willing to do anything to help get something like this to happen... Up until recently the TC 16610 and the others, wm9 was accepted as a new watch but now with Rolex discontinuing the line these are "vintage"... Sub-c is the now and we should have a decent line of these to choose from. I'm game.

my turn.bp rehault engravings are embarrassing.the crown is embarrassing.obviously we want better insert.slightly sharper bezel teeth.i would like the factorys to use the 2013 ceramic dials.and rework the noob case so the sel fitmant is clean.i haven't got pics at the mo but if you look at v2 hands they are flat so they could be improved.
Last very important thing needed from both factorys ,which to me i noticed on the gen instantly was the crown sticks out really far past the crown guards on gen.to get this effect on the reps you need to unscrew the crown loads lol.am i the only one who noticed ?

i like the noob and will be happy if they made the cg gen shape used thinner hour markers tight sel.good insert.good ar on cyclops ,how can we get these issues solved.i wish we could do what tc did and source parts getting factorys to makes us bits.sub c is my dream watch.nothing compares srs

mitch in the first pic you showed of the cg and crown that shows what i mean it must poke out of the cg more showing more crown.if you uncrew the crown a bit it has a gen position but then the crown is open with a gap

When I get home I will examine the tube seat for it's distance in relation to the bezel..... it's not something I've noticed.... meanwhile can anyone post a macro of the BP crown seat?

I'll play. Will try to add original content as others have already covered many of the tells.

- fix pearls, the noob's cup walls are too thick while the BP's are too tall
- improve dial printing; the gen is almost glossy white and slightly raised and shiny due to the thickness and quality of print
- engrave insert to correct depth (not too deep like BP's triangle nor too shallow like noob)
- and correct font while you're at it (noob)!
- plat paint of course instead of the seagull sh!t you source from god knows where
- don't claim its superlumed unless you really use superlume
- make sure the goddamned inserts are aligned with dial, christ how hard can it be?!
- pay your workers more than 10 cents an hour so they don't eat lunch while assembling my watch and leave greasy fingerprints and crumbs under the crystal!!

Lec is pretty good on noob so called super reps like sub c and exp 2.

Not overly visible to the naked eye until the right light or angle is used to see the etching.

I still feel the dial need improvements, just look how polished the markers are on gen vs the reps that seem to be polished with sandpaper.

Better AR on the cyclops where its applied to the crystal and cyclops to get a more black hole effect.

And the bezel insert as we all know, no details needed as Mitch has stated many times already in his pursuit for the perfect sub c.
