i opened a watch can someone mark on my pic stem release, and do i remove the stem in winding mode wilst the movent is moving or in time setting mode its a 21j
Everybody seems to have a different opinion of which position but I always do it from the time setting position. Slowly pull on the stem while slowly pressing on the button. Don't press too hard and don't force anything. Only press it in far enough to release the stem. And when re-installing, if it doesn't go in smoothly, while slowly rotating the stem, don't force it. You may need to put a little pressure on the stem release while you're putting it back in.
It's the one right below the blue button. Looking at the stem from the crown in, it's right above the stem on the edge of the movement base. In front of the brass gear that's sticking out
There's only one button that has an indentation on it for using a sharp object to push it in.
Live Photobucket works great on iPhone also just download the app... and careful re- installing that stem... ,,,, for someone just starting out ,rebuilding a keyless can be a pita.....
