Hello friends.

I received two weeks ago, this Explorer II noob.
I prefer not say the name of the seller.

The question is that the numbers printed in the date wheel are not centered.

Also there is a gap at the rigt of the date window.

Please, can you members give me your opinion?

The seller says that the watch ok for him and that I am picky....

Tks

I understand what you mean Pelusito. It looks like the numbers are a little off to the left rather than centered. Did you look at any quality control (QC) pictures before accepting it? That's what they're for to avoid buyer's remorse after the fact, although I'm sure things get missed anyway.
Perhaps someone else will pipe in with an opinion, but I agree with you.

Yes

I asked the seller and he said me that all is ok. Before he shipped it.

I'm from Spain like ALE, and I PM him... and he knows the problem.

I sent pics to the seller and said him that I will pay a new date wheel.

But he said me that the watch is ok.

Tks for your reply

The dealer is not going to do anything at this point. If you want it changed then I would contact one of the watch repair men on this site.

yes I know.

I have a good watch smith and I have spare parts.

the question is: Is a general flaw or only in my rep?

I have not seen one with that problem in the explorers, or heard anyone say they had this problem. I would think it was just a mis printed datewheel. I have no clue other than that. Should be an easy repair

I'm curious to know too if anyone else has had this issue with theirs. I have the explorer 2 and mine is perfect.

Mine is the same, left justified.

I think due to 42mm dial size, where the date wheel is standard 2836.

U.K.
The dw on this watch has changed from the first series when noob released them. I got one the other day with a poorly aligned overlay and decided to change it for a spare dw overlay I had from a broken movement example when they first came out.
The numbers are not as thick or precisely printed anymore and nowhere near the quality of the noob v2 sub overlay!!
Here is a pic side by side before install.

The newer is more faintly printed
