That's great stuff Cwazy as always. I'm glad you did this vid coz i can see what the ratio 'should' look like...mine was way to lumpy. Well done lad.
The lumpiness probably has little to do with the ratio you're using. I use a pigment to binder ratio thats noticeably higher than what cwazy uses. And you can see from the pics I posted for you earlier, my lume is still very smooth. What brand pigment are you using? I would assume that if your mixture is lumpy, the pigment might be too large(micron-wise).

yeah i agree with strodda, clumpyness is due to your lume being not very good. even if I have crazy lots of pigment, its never clumpy, just very very thick

When you lume the hands the lume is gong over the metal parts of the hands? Are you meant to clean that up so that the silver parts of the hands are not covered by lume?

Great vids btw

He's luming from the rear, not the face of the hands ;)

Correct. Another way to do it, is to keep the hands right side up and run the oiler along the bottom of the hand. I don't know what the scientific process is called, but the small openings will "suck" lume up into them and perfectly fill all the gaps.

Is it some Bernoulli principle of sucking air? :)

Which lume powder are you using cwazy?

Of course chaps you are right...i need to check the grade of my pigment...i currently have Glowinc v10 but i think the particle size is too big (I need to check that when i get home)

Knowing me, I bet i ordered the brightest (which from them will be the biggest particles) So what particle size is the best as they do from 2 up to 85 microns?

Mate, glowinc stuff is crap regardless of size.
Take a look at watchbitz, they have great lume for bugger all money.

Don't order from the site tho, PM Offshore and he'll send it in a envelope, lots cheaper that way. Oh, and it's cheaper for RWI members.

Cheers Boss....I only ordered the GlowInc as i saw it recommended on several threads...as I am still practicing i thought i'd try that stuff. However, as with most things in life..i may as well practice with the proper stuff i guess. I'll PM Alan.
