Looks good on the old PO, might consider buying this. Looks more dressed than the old bulky rubber

I tried on a PO with one of these on it at an AD a few weeks ago, was wondering when we'd see them here. Just ordered orange on black, can't wait!

The look is great on PO Ti!:woot:
To my understanding you had the rubber strap with the new PO Ti.
Any info whether the strap is also available as stand alone ( without the watch):cheese:
I asked several TDs for my PO Ti but they responded that BP factory is not selling the straps alone:(

This is my contribution to UPO - new style rubber strap debate. I think they look good together but as UPO case differs from CR PO case, there is some misfit. Because of that I will not be wearing this combo again - just my OCD kicking.

Did I say I like the watch lots?

I too have been waiting for anything for the 42mm models.
And whilst contemplating the gens. I stumbled across the Hirsch Medici and principal curved end straps. Some have serious difficulty mounting them. They actually are quite innovative in that the ends have a nylon adjustable piece effectively changing the distance and angle that the strap is mounted to the lugs.

Maybe I should start a new thread...

I'm with Sunny on the UPO PO/new strap debate. It's a little difference, but I couldn't live with it. I bought the gen 8500 20MM and promptly sold it for the proper 2500 white stitch.

Maybe there is a slight difference in the UPO 45 vs 42mm fitting of the newer type straps, I guess we can't say much about the newer rep strap for the 42mm as it doesn't exist yet :) but the gen straps goes well, a little overlay, but doesn't seem to ride as high as the rep strap on the 45 which sunny shows, seems to touch the edge of the bezel teeth on the 45?
Also the gen straps are hard rubber, very rigid, are the rep straps soft as described?

It's the hirsch medici type strap I couldn't live with on the POs, I see them a lot in pics, always have a big gap next to the lugs. Nice straps but never saw one fit snugly upto the curved lug.

Anyway noob are supposed to be releasing 20mm straps with their 42mm, that is if the watch ever gets off the ground!

Gen 20mm 8500 strap, gen 42mm 2500 PO.
