TD dealer referral request for Panerai PAM 288

I wasn't aware that the "K" meant anything as far as the reps go. Aren't the 7750 and Seagull both supposed to be models of the 288K?

Like I say, I'm not really a Pam guy so I don't know the intricacies of these models.

I am certainly no expert either.

I believe that the "k" refers to the "k" series of serial numbers for the am 288 and has no relation to the movement.

Toro's website does mention 7750 movement and not the seagull movement.

I will let you know once I hear back from Toro.

Cool. Thanks for the offer. I'll keep your arm in mind as i'm in the CONUS (east coast).

I have found, however, that several of the TD's here offer the Pam 288 with the Asian 7750 movement. Puretime's website seems to have them listed (though likely not on hand at the moment) and i'm waiting to hear back from Ryan at Intime.

Update:

After still some more reading here I've finally decided to go with RWI's TD Ryan at inTime.

Ryan's communication has been superb and I am at the "waiting for the QC pics" stage of the buying process.

I will, ofcourse, provide future updates (to help us newbies out there) and post a solid review of my deal (along with pictures if possible of the actual watch).

In the meantime......can anyone suggest any TD Dealers or other reputable/reliable places where I might find a nice, reasonably affordable, vintage brown leather strap for a Pam 288K (45mm) and possibly a PAM 111?

The strap i'm looking for should have a rugged feel with a deep rich brown (err on the darker side) coloration that looks like it has taken a beating.
