v2 pearl on bp insert ?

im thinking about asking angus for a v2 insert,and putting the pearl on bp,any issues to be aware of modderz

You will need a much bigger hole in the bp insert !!

Good luck trying to source that. Id be very surprised if he would let those out in parts (pieces).

If you can source one the only problem i might see is the post width. It looks alot fatter than any other type of creamic pearls i have ever seen before.

But please keep in mind, i have never seen one in real life, only pictures, so it might not really be the case. But im sure that problem would be workable (filing the post or enlarging the mounting hole)

I don't see why it wouldn't work. You either have to close or open the hole which isn't too hard.

The inserts are available because I've emailed Ryan and he said the insert can be purchased.

no watchguy still has my watch doing the crystal gasket,when he sends it back to me ill install the v2 pearl.ive started the pppm that will be done and ready for a photo shoot soon

the stem is way to big to mount into a hole on the bp insert to sit flush without damaging insert drilling it.then i was asked to maybe just glue it on,but for it to sit flush i would have to file or sand half of the pearl cup,not sure if that would work or even possible looking at how thick and solid the pearl cup looks

ok i think i can mount it properly into the insert hole,without drilling and damaging it

You can use a tiny round file,We call them rats tail files.they work fine for this type of job.jewelry supply shops should be able to supply it
