undoubtedly might be fun, but i dont think TB wants to be stranded in PA again. and with an 88' Ranger your asking for headaches

How are they mechanically?

Do your homework on the Jeep and definitely ask your regular mechanic about both. Certain models and certain years of Jeep Cherokees were notorious for having issues, while others were awesome and were work horses.

Good luck.

TB check to make sure the HEAT works in the Jeep. That model has an issue with the blend doors coming apart. Most folks don't check that this time of year.

They also have a problem with A/C drainage that can leave the passenger side carpet damp. It's not a deal breaker as it can be unclogged but it's negotiating power. (unless these belong to family members)

I would definitely go for ranger over that jeep. That model was not one of the reliable ones jeep made.

Fukin craigslist people. I told the JEEP owner to forget it, I don't have the patience for some sissy ass wussy boy who can't make a decision about working out payment. His wife has his balls, which I'd love to shove one of each up their asses.

:rofl::rofl: I have owned two of those jeeps with HO318 V8. You dont want one! One transmission line cost $113 Because of the dam rubber hose end! Plus they have alot of other problems! If i was going to have a jeep i would get the strait six not the 318 v8 ! The older model's 318 was great then jeep threw all of that junk on them and F'them up!

I bought a Ranger extended cab in 1993. Lifted it, and beat the shit out of it the first year I moved to Cali. It was fun. I don't think it's too practical for me these days. But I would take that over a Jeep. Last time I rode in one of those, my tits kept bouncing and I almost came. :hehehe:
