Yes I know it's a LeCoultre and its old but what is it? Is it anything special? Why is there a gold strap on it and is there a way I can make this look halfway decent?

This looks a bit like a Master ultra thin to me.

Something like this.

I think it is from the 60's. Can you open the back and see what movement it has?

Very classy looking. Could be quite valuable if that's a solid gold case and bracelet.

Movement looks like an 818 which production started in 1959. Picture is blurry, so I can read the caseback. Is there a case number on it?

I'm guessing, but the watch seems to be custom. I can find similarly parts for this watch, but not together.

I found the case, but with different dial and movement. I found the movement, but in a different case. None of the watched had that bracelet.

I'm pretty sure the bracelet was custom, not sure why someone went through all this trouble. Any ideas as to what I should do with it? Keep it as is or change the band?

If you are attached to it....keep it. The watch probably is only worth the gold that is in it. You could also try selling the movement separately.

The similar watches I found for sale online were listed between 800-1200
