Reverse call out?

Hey all.

I sell VW's for a living and the car industry is awash with some nice wristwear. I wear a Hublot big bang v1 lite (sead thanks) as my daily beater as it looks the part and is a little different to the run of the mill clocks.

After 7 months of people admiring it something weird happened today. A guy came in with the same watch!! first time ever... well he complemented me on it and said at least yours is real... admitting his was a rep...

Now i dont know if he was being nice as his wasnt a good rep at all.. or he knew mine was a rep too.. Well he bought a motor and on the way out i told him the truth.... Told him to check out this site and buy with confidence...

guess just wondering if people out there tell people about this site or have had people admit there watch is a rep too them..

I have a workmate that has a gen 116610 sub and he thinks mine is real even holding them side by side. I don't want to tell him mine was $8k less and can't tell them apart. Of course I'm sure if he held it the weight would give it away.

Almost all the sub reps around nowadays are the correct sort of weight....I don't know where this myth comes from.

Probably from a comparison between a gen and a very cheap quartz rep.
