Once upon a time, there was a German bloke called Maria. He lived in Thailand and bought replica Rolexes (and other watches) from a stall in the MBK centre, Bangkok.
Mah Boon Krong Shopping Centre (MBK) Some of these Rolex replicas (mostly the vintage 1665 and 1680 models) attained legendary status when people realised they were made the same way as the genuines.
Meaning the bezel construction was a 1:1 copy of the genuine version. What this meant was that people could fit genuine Rolex acrylic crystals and bezel inserts.

When Maria sold these watches, he did so under the name of Maria's Best Watch, which itself took on a mythical quality as he was a bit of a belligerent fellow.
Not wanting to deal with some people, adding a rarity to the whole proceedings.
When he stopped selling the watches on the forums, he had a friend called Luckyyy who sold them in his place under the MBW banner.
Luckyyy later ran off with a few members' money and disappeared.
Modern MBW/MBK nowadays can only be sourced by Narikaa and offcourse he is trusted!

WatchMaker9 (WM9) used to sell extremely accurate copies of Rolex watches.
He was a toolist/machinest/case maker for a chinese rep factory and made higher quality ones on the side.
A member of this site, BK (who still does custom work) took these very good reps and made them better.
Unfortunately WM9 dissapeared with a lot of people's money and has never been heard from since.

David Wong (DW) provided the watch as best specializes in the older style Daytonas and a few Panerai models.
All parts are good quality aftermarket and he uses 7750 asian movements on the Daytonas which can be modified to act as hand wound movement.
They are reasonably priced for what you get and he carries a good variety of choices which you can order with the dial and bezel you want.
DW's 6263 is one of the most accurate Rolex rep cases available, and is on par with the pricier ones being sold by Yukiwatch and Jewelryandwatch.
The same old story here, DW took money and no delivery, not disappeard yet but i would not take the risk.

That's a nice 6263. I admire people who can pull off full gold variants, reps or gens.

They are BEAUTIFUL, S.!! You're a very lucky dude; thanks for the sad stories accompanying these pics; it really IS a shame that top notch makers absconded with members' monies.
