Hello folks,

So I sold all my reps last weeks. It were only 6 :D:

In the past I owned a WM9 and I sold it after a year. (Stupiest thing ever done)

Now I want to achieve the following:

Franken 16610LN

TC CASE
TC DWO
Gen xtal
TC 2824 super clone
TC DIAL+hands
Gen insert.

I have been out of this game for a long time! So I'm not sure whether this is possible or not. Does all these parts fit without problems?

Did I pick the best after-market parts or are there any better.

Many thanks to you all!

if thats your wishlist pickup a TC, install your gen crystal, a gen insert and your done :)

TC (older ones at leasT) already come with gen etas (2824 i believe).

TC is definitely the best place to start....

alternatively you could get a BK one if you can and do the same....

whilst the TC is considered slightly more accurate, theres not a huge difference (only little ones such as crown height and guards....)

Yes your on the right track. But the TC LN dial and hands could pose to be a challege to find. I think one would be better off buying TC new offering Type 2 LV and selling the LV dial and hands and what ever other part's you dont want. And starting from there!
The biggest problem i see is. BK TWLN and TC both are not offering the 16610LN
at the moment. And part's are inpossible to find just about it!
Here is my starter kit ;;TC LN Dial and hands and a old WM9 LN insert.

Cost dictate you just order the full watch from TC in parts. He may cut you a better deal if it is unassembled (he has done this in past but do not quote me on it).

The install of these parts will be easy or just send it away for assembly.

Can't wait to see her!!

Thanks brothers!

I know 16610LN dial is hard to get atm. Rudy, are you able to sell your dial + hand stack? Is it really that hard to install a 16610 dial onto the movement? TC said he messed up plenty of them..

I am also looking for a gen Insert + Crystal

I am sorry my friend. The 16610 TC LN Dial @ hands are not for sale. I finaly got them after waiting since last October when i joined this forum
I have always wanted the 16610 LN but TC was out of stock on them when i joined the boards. Then when i discovered that BK offered the TW 16610 LN . The same day i PM him and emailed him they where out of stock also.
So i have been waiting to do this build for a very long time! I wish you the best of luck on your build!
PS;; I would get one of the moders on the boards to put the watch together for you!

Friends,

Next try. TC came up with this new HK16610 dial which looks very accurate. What are your guys opinion?

So this should be way to go;

* TC HK16610 dial
* TC Case
* TC Crown / Gen crown
* TC DWO 3

* Gen hands (looking for it)
* Gen (ar) xtal (looking for it)
* Yuki 3135 (very hard to acquire!)
* gen insert (got it)

Although many don't know.. Turning crown up on a gen Rolex 3135 will set the time later. ETA is the opposite.

As far as I know only Asian/Yuki 3135 has this feature.. But these movements are not very reliable without a service, are expensive and hard to require.

Therefor I'm looking for a good alternative.

@OP, if you're going to use a y3135 movement, then forget about using the TC dial. Try searching for a gen dial reasonably priced. The TC dial is made for eta movements. Feet clipping and alignment issues will follow if using the 3135 movement. Now, you can always build a full TC and be happy with it.

Does anyone know a good alternative for Yuki 3135 that takes gen hands?

If someone has a Yuki 3135: PM ME! Thanks

Reason for me to say that, despite the leaps and bounds in improvements, rep 16610 is still far from perfect. More so for the newer models.
