Screwdrivers

Hi all, nice Saturday today, was tidying up my tools and though of some upgrading.
I did a search on the recommendations of screwdrivers but did not really find a lot of information so decided to ask here.

Since I started this hobby slightly more than 1.5 years ago, I have been using the 9pieces DX ver. screwdrivers bought from offshore.
Now gaining more experiences and owning more watches, I decided that its time that I need to invest in a better set of tools.

Of course the industry standard screwdrivers are the Bergeon and Horotec stuff, but those run into the late hundred to a few hundreds that I just cannot justify spending.

I looked around and saw A*F switzerland stuff, not sure how good those are.
Anyone used them before, or have any other recommendations?
Appreciate any suggestions.

What Im using now (AUD 22?):

The AF 18980 I saw, around $100

I bought that same set from another source and it is a copy of the Bergeon set. I threw away the blades and bought gen Bergeon replacement blades, I think I paid around $25 for a set of ten, and they are are as sharp and good as ever after 3yrs. The only thing I couldn't find is a replacement grub screw that lives in my carpet.

The Bergeon blades are an exact fit and change out in two minutes.

I found it is also worth adding a little grease to the top spinner.

Are the AF Swiss blade not of good quality?
Granted that the Bergeon replacement blades are not expensive.

I have two sets like these. And they are tuff. Not easy to strip. And the ends are just like the day I bought them! Great investment!

Bergeon blades are crap mate, buy the Horotec ones instead. Watchbitz has them, their replacement blades are Horotec. Any decent watch tool supply house should have them but OS can mail 'em in an envelope for next to nothing. PM him, don't order off the site as it will charge you a lot more for shipping on those.

Great news, I didnt know those that OS carries are Horotec since he didnt state so.
While I already ordered some spare Bergeon blades, guess some more spare blades wouldnt hurt :D:

They are the same ones as in the deluxe driver set and come direct from the GZ licensed agents.

A vote here for the AF set - 18980 - I have had a set for some time, they are tough and come with spare blades in any case.
